OVERVIEW

For Love Istra, we developed and pitched a complete brand identity concept designed to express the authentic beauty and spirit of the Istrian region. The goal was to craft a strong visual language that captures the essence of Istria—its nature, culture, and lifestyle—in a modern and emotionally engaging way.

 

The identity concept included logo design, color palette, typography, and brand applications, all presented as part of a strategic pitch. With a refined yet organic aesthetic, the proposal positioned Love Istra as a premium, heartfelt brand that celebrates the richness of local experience through a contemporary lens.

CHALLENGES & APPROACH

The main challenge was to capture the essence of Istria—a region known for its natural beauty, culture, and authenticity—within a brand identity that feels modern, premium, and emotionally resonant. The brand needed to appeal to both locals and international visitors, while avoiding clichés often associated with regional tourism.

 

Our approach focused on refined simplicity and organic elegance. We drew inspiration from the textures, tones, and rhythms of the Istrian landscape—olive groves, stone paths, sea horizons—and translated them into a cohesive visual system. The proposed identity included a minimalist logo, earthy color palette, soft typography, and lifestyle-driven imagery to convey warmth, heritage, and quiet sophistication.

THE RESULT

The result was a fully developed brand identity pitch that positioned Love Istra as a modern tribute to the region’s timeless charm. The concept resonated with a vision of Istria that is not just seen, but felt—building emotional connection through design. It laid the groundwork for a brand that could grow across tourism, lifestyle, and cultural platforms with clarity, beauty, and purpose.
